Thanks guys. Were those renders...? Ely862me has alot of skill, most definatly. I think, in answer to your question, ely862me, i would rate my car 3 stars. Sad you arent on the warehouse. I would love to see a car tutorial from you. Scottpara, Ok, I get the point. but the scale (to me) does not really matter. For example, one of rogue's models is 2,000,000 metres long. Dave R.: (Nice avatar you have
) It is not designed to be ridden in standing up.
I think I ought to take the critisism and work to make my model better. Or, if ely862me uploads a tutorial, then I'll start another project. OH! Yeah, ely862me's tutorial is on youtube right?
OK, solo, ely862me, scott para, here you we can discuss my models!
To Scott Para I was thinking of giving it new rims. I'd appreciate it if you told me what scaling issues you were talking about.
Ely862me: What issues do you have with my car?
Solo: What issues do you have with my car?
Hi Scott, What scaling issues are you talking of? Constructive critisism is always welcome. Also, maybe I havent been very articulate. I guess what I'm trying to say is, mandun is immpersonating me by creating an account called goldenfrog and rating other people badly. I'm used to dealing with one star ratings myself--I search their name, and give some sort of witty comment. Other people rate one star to the person who rated them one star. That is what mandun is trying to get people to do. He rates them bad, then they search "Goldenfrog" and rate me badly. And I notice no one has answered my question. That's OK, cos he's gone now. Instead of talking abut ways to improve my models here, go to my thread about my models.
No, solo, that link was for ely862me who said my cars wernt so good so I gave him the link to the model so he could see that my cars were actually pretty good. The link has nothing to do with the thread. Sooooo...yeah, people dont seem to get this thread. Oh well my impersonator is gone so...
The ratings on that model have nothing to do with the thread. Just posted it to show ely862me that my cars were pretty good.
Well you kinda missed the point. The thing is, there is a pseudo goldenfrog on the warehouse and sometimes he rates me. But he's gone now, so there's no point to this thread now. And check this out: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=4753643e13f1fcc0f6c80f6a5291c505
See what you think
Thanks, Rogue! I think I may add an interior as soon as I have some large amount of free time. You have any projects going on? Hope your hand mends soon.
Closest I've ever gotten to breaking bones was when I was practising a stunt for a movie: jumping up and kicking something with both feet...I practised it using a bed.
Flew backwards and landed on my wrists. They were bent backwards at the time, so...It hurt...I looked like this: Lol.
Or maybe I should fit it with better rims and hard-tune it: ride height, colour, decals, etc. Or add more polys, and make it a more professional model. Not sure. Probs add more polys.
Hm...seems like a great idea, but why not just hide the model, all but the component you want to edit?
Hey, Rogue, check this out : http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=4753643e13f1fcc0f6c80f6a5291c505
What you think?
Wow, thanks for all the comments guys! Anyways, uploaded it to the 3dwh:http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=4753643e13f1fcc0f6c80f6a5291c505

Beginners of an appropriate age of course.
Awww...really?
Yep, thanks much. AS you can see, I seem to have figured it out. Here are some images of my latest project:
Its a basic hatchback, not the handsomest of cars, but I think it's my best try so far.
Got it! The pic, I will admit, has nothing to do with my models...
HMMMMM....Cant find a way to embed pics without using URLs. Guess you cant get sneak peeks here...You'll have to go some place else.
Hey, that interior shot is lookin' great! By the way, is there any way to post images without having a URL for the image? Better said, can I embed a pic straight from my computer?
