I have done the main models with Sketchup v6 and then, exported as 2d images in Black and White.
After that all the post production was made by a very good Vietnamese from the office, He used Illustrator and Corel draw. And after all this PP, Photoshop for the final layout.
I know that the coloration of the central image was done with a pencil effect plugin in illustrator.

You know, when I was in Vietnam, I have made a lot of Resort/Spa concept presentation, and I know how it's difficult to satisfy the clients, and especially in Asia...

This is a presentation that I have done 2 years ago for a resort on the Mekong delta coast, sketchup and a lot of PP. Maybe it can be useful in your research...

Really nice images, just a question, don't you think that as the concern was the photo-realistic renders, these images are a bit too artistic for an architectural project ?
IMHO, I opted for something a little more sharpened, with sketchy edges. What do you think ?

I just download the new release of Twilight, and bravo to the team...Really great improvement, material, speed...
The scene is really simple, car from evermotion. I have used an white studio HDRI as Sky probe, and the car paint is from the TL library made by Majid.
Very quick setup 10 minutes (really!!!) and let cook for 1hour and half at 1000 width.
And here is the result directly from Twilight, I just add a border with acdsee, I swear...

Super improvement...
