I did a try to set the material on each individual face (skin does creates a component) but it did not change.
The only way I can get transparency with podium is to use a semi transparent material (transparency set within SU). Otherwise with material that have png transparency but that are not set transparent in SU, it seems that it does not work.
I guess that correspond to what Gaieus was telling (but I am not familiar with graphical formats)

I try to model a net bridge over a lagooning zone (marsh), something like this pict1)
Until now I got a middle succes (at my level) using the wonderful skin plugin and a wire fence material. pict 2)
However the rendering with podium does not take into account the semi transparency of this material .
Any clue ? (or improvement suggestions)

Does anybody have an idea on how to model such a "net" bridge ? My last tentatives are not really convincing.
How it should be ...

I am looking for green bulding models (contrast in between industrial and natural architecture, plantwall, greenroof, organic design) I could get inspired by and this legally.
It is just for "presentation" of the overall park and not to "sell" the model. Anyway we can manage and agreement if the model is on purpose and could be more than an example.

Could you please help me to define what I should refine ?

I would like to define one or two overall picture, showing the park in situation : sort of overall picture like google map like in my draft) and four outdoor zooms on significant attractions or places.
For this, some elements would have to be continued (buildings are only blocks and I was expecting some predefined "organic" models...)

I think it is necessary that I better define a sort of statement of work to make it clear.
I will add comments and "contain" on text within the draft .skp file but on my PC it is performance nightmare ... (vista with scrap video card that dump when I activate material acceleration...)

I am really impressed by what you all can get from this tool. Personally, I am fighting a lot to get few results to my point of view. I imagine it requires time and artistic skills. I contribute to an organization that manage to convince some local authorities, business partners and NP organisations to create a playful and educational park for the discovery of sustainable development solutions and technologies
We are a small motivated structure, not six flags or similar
The structure is just created, but I already need to convince investors and public partners, providing them with a "vision" of what it could look like. My experiments with SU let me understand that I need help if I want something that looks good and in time, so my question : Are some of you offering help or services ? or could you provide me with some place to submit a request and get an estimate at reasonable cost ?
I need more an artistic draft or outline than a real architecture work at this stage
I did a draft in SU, at least to position the main elements but my buildings are not really "environmentals"... thematic is : "Eco Efficiency ... 25000 years of research".
