It's obvious Palin is out of her league.

Out of her leauge??...Shes out of her mind! That loon is living in her own world. I have watched several interviews where she was confronted with the results of the inquiry into her misuse of power (that found that she did misuse her power) and she was grateful that she was cleared of any wrongdoing? So, is this just blatant lying, or the worst case of self delusion in history? What color is the sky in your world Sarah? The self proclaimed hockey mom that got booed off the ice when she dropped the puck recently at a Flyer's game..even hockey people don't like her!

"I love it when people try to sound intelligent and, you know, enlightened, when they talk down about others."

That's the rifle she points out her kitchen window, and then lines the cross hairs up on the Russians she can see from her house. You know she is so busy shooting wolves from helicopters and trying to get animals off the endangered species list so she can put a bullet in their heads, when will she have time to be vice president?

    • RE: Time to put this to rest...

It's simple...like Pete said, the McCain campaign is loosing...they had this little tidbit in their pocket just waiting for the right time to use it. Desperate, smear tactics from a loosing campaign. It is really pathetic..this is designed to appeal to the same level of intelligence that constantly saying his middle name does. "Look you patriotic Americans, not only doesn't he put his hand over his heart during the pledge, and he wears African garb, but he is actually a terrorist..his middle name proves it...AND he associates with a washed up old '60s ex radical" I guess the second he is sworn in he is going to take out a turban, put it on and say "FOOLED YA"!

    • Saturday Nite Live VP Debate Opener

This is absolutely hilarious! Tina Fey is dead on as usual, but Jason nails Bidens hand gestures and smile poses perfectley. I think this skit takes great shots at both sides including the "biased" moderator. I just can't get enough of Tina Fey dong Palin..this was her best yet. Whoever wrote it really hit the ball out of the park as well...

I think McCain should have picked Joe Lieberman and Obama should have picked Hillary.

Ill certainly agree with you on that one, although I'm not a real big Lieberman fan and he's from my state. Not to mention he's a flip flopper...

Just heard a blurb on the local news that she gave an interview today (imagine that :`) and said...the newscaster actually prefaced this with and I quote: "Senator Obama isn't qualified to be president".

      Eggs the size of basketballs!

Of the 4 candidates, here's my list of who is qualified to be president:

      1. McCain - because I have a bias
      2. Biden - only because of his longevity even though he gets his facts wrong.
      3. Palin - she's been a governor
      4. Obama - he gives a good speech

Obama should be #3 at least just because he is better educated. Whats Palin got...some kinda night school degree in communication?

Pete I was disappointed too...I wanted her to shove her foot in her mouth in a big way, but she didn't pay off... ๐Ÿ˜’ I'll give her props for remembering what everyone has driven into her skull, but thats all it was. She answered almost every question with a sidestepping, flag waving rehearsed response, and almost every time she would try and crowbar in a quaint phrase or something about Alaska. It didn't change my mind one bit about who I want to be in the on deck circle for my country. I got the feeling the moderator was getting frustrated with her grandstanding.... a few times she waited for her to stop talking and then would ask her the question again, looking for a definitive answer.

You have never been to the states? It's funny that allot of people make NYC their first exposure to the US..talk about potential culture shock! It's allot nicer than it was 10 years ago, but try not to look too much like a tourist. You will love the architecture, there are cool buildings everywhere. Some of the best food is in the local mom and pop style places rather than the snootier expensive restaurants.... make sure you get some pizza. Oh, and not every city in the US smells like urine...just keep that in mind..and NEVER step off the curb unless your sure there isn't a taxi coming...they will run you right down and not even slow down! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

    • RE: McCain vs Obama 1st debate

That SNL skit is spot on. Palin is about as intelligent as a pen cap, and just sits there and parrots what she was instructed to say, and peppers in allot of great republican buzzwords. She reminds me of those full size cardboard figures of people that they put in front of a movie theater to promote a film...catches your eye, but when you take a close look theres nothing really there..it's just a decoration. Problem is this cardboard cutout in the right circumstance could be our president. Then we will be busy burning books, and praying over homosexuals so they will turn straight..maybe passing some legislation so we can soil our entire country with oil drilling rigs, and taking all the real fun animals to hunt off the endangered species list...oh ya and making sure that women who are raped and victims of sexual molestation are forced to have babies they don't want. Personally, I think McCain might have sank his ship when he tacked that dummy onto his wagon. I have more respect for him than her, but she drags the whole Republican party down.

    • RE: McCain vs Obama 1st debate

I'll admit..I do hear allot of people go out of their way to mention his middle name..and usually they are in the midst of bashing him when they do it. There are just as many ignorant people that will think he is a Muslim extremist because of his name, that will also not vote for him ( or vote for him) just cause he's half African American.

Gaganraj, unfortunately based on recent events.... in allot of peoples minds Arab does equal bad. When I was watching the world trade center be attacked I wasn't thinking it was the Swedes that were flying the planes into the buildings. I'm not saying it's right or fair..but in allot of peoples minds that middle name of his is pretty hard to swallow.

    • RE: Dirty room

Great work. Looks like a New York City flat, with a 5 story walk up! I love the design and the textures..the rusty trusses, and the peeling plaster at the upper paint line are very well done, great bump on the floor...texture you can feel! Interesting mix of a dilapidated room, with some nice new looking columns supporting a loft area that you wouldn't think belongs, but it works. Love the industrial lighting fixtures also.

    • RE: McCain vs Obama 1st debate

It was interesting to watch, and I think Obama just came across to me as well spoken confident and I liked allot of his opinions and ideas about what his administration would do. Both candidates made good points but I thought McCain was talking a little too much about his past experience and doing some flag waving, and not answering the questions with at least something substantial about his plans. But when it comes right down to it politicians are all the same at heart, and with either winner it will be a wait and see if they do what they promised situation.

    • RE: For crying out loud!

I watched the debate as well, and I thought both candidates made some strong points. I give an edge to Obama, just because I felt he gave more concise answers and descriptions of what he has planned and what his agenda will consist of, and McCain resorted to mostly referencing his past experience rather than what he intends to do, and blatant flag waving. As I found out this morning when I discussed the debate with a friend who loves McCain and hates Obama, based on your politics really dictates who you thought won the debate. I don't think anyone clearly "won", and most of the experts agreed it was mostly a draw.
