Thank you for good words, it gives me more enthusiasm to work harder. Have not posted anything for some time, because working now on really huge project. But on freetime I prepared little project β innovational workplace for archdaily competition. It was modeled with sketchup and then rendered in 3d max + vray. It took my about 15 hours to get such a result

I had only one day to create this

Yup, I imported it into sketchup. Can not tell exact amount of polys, but it was quite high numbers. But sketchup managed to cope with it

Thank you
I usually use sketchup + vray. But for more complex exteriors I some times use skp + 3dmax + vray -

I like all images except first one, bad composition ant too much dark area I think.
Really? It's one of my favourite...

That black splashes on the walls make all interiors not clean, walls are dirty.
So? What's wrong with not perfectly clean walls? Here's a pic of the real thing anyway. Not so clean as you can see.
[attachment=0:1ger5z0p]<!-- ia0 -->4982994864_bf97b4c29f_o.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:1ger5z0p]I agree that in a pic of real thing is not so clean. But it is because of texture and dirt. In your renders it is not a dirt map, or texture, but its a bad GI. And it did not convince me, because you never get bad GI in real life. If I were you, I would try to avoid that in future works.
I gave you some critics which might help you improve rendering quality, while others just tell that is perfect and increadible. But it is never perfect. -

Very nice skulptures. I like all images except first one, bad composition ant too much dark area I think. But its only my opiniom. And one more thing. That black splashes on the walls make all interiors not clean, walls are dirty. Maybe this is because of bad image sampling? try to increase value and then it will be perfect

RE: Vray 1.6 open beta
Finally. Amazing improvements. I think we will have increase in quality of renders made with sketchup very fast
Only one question from me. How works material of proxy? For example if I created proxy with material. What will happen if I import that proxy into different project? Do I need to recreate its material? -

Wow Edenux I think all of these are great. But what is going on with the carpet tiles/ mats/ pillows on the floor of the interior model of the third group? Your renderings are amazing but when I saw the tiles I was puzzled. Never saw anything like that before. Great modeling too.
If we are talking about same image, it is a carpet, not tiles

RE: Lastest work (Thea4Su 13 May)
You sould pay more attention for image composition. This is the only one thing at this level which makes your renders weak.
First image, too much of vegetation on the right side.
Second image. I could not understand what are you trying to show. The house or chrome ball? If house, pay more attention for the facade. More over, corner of the roof is gone which makes house not so important in this image
Good luck in next renders, and remember that compositon is extremaly important -

RE: {NPR} Garden Barn
I like picture, mood. But one thing: for me white image frame is too big and the image itself becomes too small
