I tried everything I know to help a student who appears to have something floating way out there that is keeping her from zooming back in to find her model. Any suggestions?

Red x appearing on layout pictures...only certain ones.

I have a student with this error message. I've tried e-mailing, changing the file extension and importing. No luck- Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
