No sure why I get a white outline on my png renders. Its more noticeable when placing a backdrop (added the ocean) See my example:

When I import a JPEG picture to add to my scene the image is washed out and doesn't retain is contrast and colour when rendered. The rest of the rendered materials are fine, except the image. Example below. Is it possible to fix this? thanks
