In general you will need a computer with a suitable graphics card. Integrated GPUs have never been recommended and historically Nvidia GeForce and GTX series cards have been the best at supporting OpenGL. SketchUp only uses a single CPU core so multi-core CPUs don't add anything. Speed will be more important than number of cores. Many rendering programs can utilize more threads so if you plan to do that sort of thing, investigate their system requirements, too.
