A few available on cadyou, perhaps not as detailed as solo's.. sitting room furniture is something i will definitely be adding more of over the next month:

    • RE: Logo on wall

It is often worth considering how things would be built up in reallife in order to model them correctly in Sketchup. For example, the logo would not be on the same plane as the wall.. in all likelihood it would either be mounted on a backing of grp / plastic or the very least be a vinyl-type transfer.

In either case the logo would actually sit in front of the wall between a few millimeters and a few centimetres, is there any reason why you cant just move the logo forward in sketchup, or create a thin box in front of the wall and apply the texture to that instead?

Looks great for the time spent, perhaps a touch less field of view on the close ups would have resulted in a little less perspective distortion πŸ˜„

      Hey!

These are great, and those example renders - especially the context ones are amazing.

    • RE: Commercial Exterior

Its a pity you didn't correct the verticals like pmiller suggested.. it makes it look as though the building is falling backwards.. If you look at any architectural visualisation done by big names this will always be corrected πŸ˜‰

In general though, great stuff.. prefer the second one over the first as that reflection is really distracting.

    • Howdy!

      Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. Found sketchucation when searching for a Ruby script to manage components as Xrefs. I use Sketchup most days for a fair few hours in my job at an architects and have also just started a website based around resources for digital designers such as 3d models and textures.
