Just to add my respect to all ruby coders sharing their work with others.

Me too I'm in need for such a plugin to automate the work.
I recently used SU to make a shadow study and I must confess that this is a tedious task without a ruby script.
So, thanks RickW and Jim for your interest in this matter!
Hopefully we'll soon have a script to put to work
