No, i don't get any messages.

i've installed component finder along with the other flextools and activated it. Then i want to add a folder, the windows explorer opens and i can select one but then nothing happens - the component finder window keeps blanc and no components are displayed. i've tried other folders with sketchup models and i also reinstalled the plugin but it doesn't work. i use windows 10/1803 sketchup pro 2018.

ok. it works. While installing the windows "Unable to install this Extension..." still pops up but the plugin works anyway. Many thanks for your changes.

Sorry but i can't install the plugin. After i select "install extension..." in the system preferences menu and select the plugin, a window pops up: "Unable to install this Extension. Sketchup was unable to install the Extension you have chosen for some unknown reason. Consult your Extension's documentation for additional help." ?

ok, i've had started Sketchup with administrative rights. Without admin rights drag and drop works also for me.

Drag and Drop of a picture or a sketchup file from the windows explorer to SU2013 doesn't work anymore. With Sketchup 8 it works fine. Did i miss something?

is this possible: select several named group/components, e.g. group "A" and group "B", run the (wanted) ruby, enter a prefix e.g. "1_", and the group/components an renamed in "1_A" and "1_B" an so on.
