Yea I'll have to agree with you on some of the images... You can always make them better just for your portfolio if you're not happy with the quality on some of them! I like 'em all dude... f'ckn awesome job!

RE: Podium Renders of Some Old Models
Formfonts has some good ones and 3d warehouse does as well... but make sure you check the quality on some of the ones from warehouse!

Seems everyone wants to use it! They would probably charge a ridiculous price for this if they sold it as a stand alone package...

RE: Vacation Shot - exposure blend
Any chance we can get this at a higher resolution to use as a background? Preferably 1920x1200... big monitor... and maybe a link to your website once you post those HDRI's?

RE: Lighter and Smokes
As an experienced smoker I know that those lines on the cigarettes are toned down a whole lot more... well on my marlboros they are! You should've done a Bic lighter as well... we all know any other brand sucks... the spring always break! I agree with Modelhead about the subject...

RE: LUroomWIP: different view...
Tom, what are those little things by the door? I've been trying to figure that out for a while now! Remember the Where's Waldo books? I keep looking for new things I didn't see before... I found that psycho cat and the pay phone... maybe you could tell us what inspired you to do this scene?

RE: This is not a fake...
Were his ears clipped to look this way or born with it?

RE: LUroomWIP: different view...
Wow... what a crazy scene! That cat on the left near the window is killing me
! I prefer that saturated one this time around because the others start to look bland IMO...I feel as if I'm watching "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" all over again!

RE: Podium 1.5 (full ) render
puff puff pass stinkie...
that first render Nomer is excellent... please keep 'em coming!
-
RE: Small House 80m2 , WIP
Good idea Julius! Eduardo... you could do this in photoshop with ease if you don't feel like sitting through another render...

RE: Stripes Couch
These are nice Boo... the last one you have some light leaking at the top left of the picture (sculpture?) above the couch and your guitar doesn't seam to have any strings? I like the last view better than the other IMO... good stuff man...

RE: Sketchup to Kerkythea Renders
You can definitely see the progression from render to render! They look sweet and welcome to the forums... can't wait to see more!

RE: ..Country Club Interiors - Maxwell + SketchUp..
Sweet renderings Jason! The line work you chose for the last post seems to be too strong IMO... and what's with the piano color?

RE: SketchyConferences
I imagine someone could make some good money teaching people how to use sketchup this way!
If I only knew how to make rubies...
I love this idea!
Gaieus... it has been a couple of weeks... am I missing something? -
RE: 'Ordinary' Dog Lovers should SPEAK OUT!
Oh ok... I thought they would maybe be a little smaller. I live in a small apartment so that would probably be too big for me right now... down the road maybe... thanks for the info! Male dachshunds can be a pain in the ass so your daughter made a good choice!

RE: 'Ordinary' Dog Lovers should SPEAK OUT!
Booo... she is sweet! How big do these "dockers" usually get? I'm thinking of getting another pup...
-
RE: Lifelike animation
Damn... thats awesome! Did you happen to see her when they showed the specular map on her face? That was kinda frreaky...
-
RE: 'Ordinary' Dog Lovers should SPEAK OUT!
The same thing is going on with Dachshunds! Breeders are trying to make these dapples with a crazy assortment of colors and sometimes they use inbreeding to achieve this... it really is sad! I adopted a long hair dachshund from a family a couple of years ago that never took care of him and he has become one of the sweetest dogs I will ever have! It was amazing to see the transformation from crazy out of control dog to laid back almost pothead like spoiled dog... he's my boy! I call him feathers because the hair on his ears makes him look like he can fly...

RE: Tilled cube
It kinda looks like a hamster cage... add one of those spinning wheels to the side maybe in the form of a wind mill and I think you might be on to something! Nice work...
