question:
is it possibul that LayerPanel window position would be kept as last open location on the screen?

I have a problem :

• when adding keyshortcut to LayerPanel tool palet it adds shortcut to SketchucationPluginStore tool palet this same shortcut
• and as result to use of shortcut, command opens SketchucationPluginStore tool palet!

I dont have ruby knowlege, but as user testing , I can give a try.
I'm using skp pro version 8 only with a lot of addons so conflict with other plugs is possibul.
However sketchucation store plug alows to do some limted sets if needed.

1./ as adviced I replaced only the file you forwarded "PiGa_RichSection.rb"
2./ then no more loading error on startup
3./ than RichSection is in the palet and plugins menu
4./ than when clicking or choosing from menu - "create richsection" in rubby panel there is:

I have no explanation. For me it works on SU8 and SU2013. But i can't test it on mac.
Can you test the following : disable all the other plugins

If this doesn't help, can you test the following file : replace PiGa_RichSection.rb (in directory ..SketchUp..\Plugins) by the file below, and tell me if it works

It seems to me that now the large quantity of possibul tools, generates a problem of a clarity of the interface and capabilities to addapt to the user needs.

In skp app we have plugins and tools — with time I understand less and less difference between both.
... And now in Sketchucation plugin we have plugins and extensions. So now I'm starting to be confused

What is the difference between plugins vs tools ?

In the Check of update can you check or uncheck the checkbox "Show only plugins installed locally". This refresh the web dialog box. Can you then see the images.

The file is already encoded in UTF-8 (without BOM) so I guess you should do nothing really. Also, this should not affect the functioning of the plugin - only the appearance of these foreign characters in the webdialog.
