Dave,
Thanks so much for the added tips! Printing thru Layout is so much easier to use. Just to have these drawings printed out to scale is a blessing.
Thanks again,
Joe

Quantj and Dave R., thanks for your replies. I'm currently using Sketchup Pro 13. All of our drawings have to fit on standard 8 1/2" x 11" paper and usually using 1" to 1" (or full size) scale, or possibly 1/2 scale if needed. I'll take a look at Layout & see what I come up with.
Thanks again,
Joe
I'm a technology education teacher in a junior high school here in NJ using Sketchup for the 1st time. As much as I'm loving the ease of transitioning into Sketchup from Vectorworks and AutoCAD, I cannot get a hold of the parameters of printing to scale. Be it at home on a PC, or here at school on MAC's, nothing is working. Every once in awhile I get 1 to work correctly, but have 99 that don't.
On the MAC's, I'll switch to parallel projection, pick the print scale (which doesn't seem to save) go thru with the printing....and its at the wrong scale. I need to have these to a proper scale to correctly grade the drawings. Everything That I've read or googled makes it seem so easy.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Joe
Finding the premade title blocks in LayOut is just what I was looking for. I'm sure that there has to be a way to edit the existing text in those title blocks that I'm just not seeing.
Dave R & JQL...thanks for your comments, I'll give them a try.
Hey All,
Trying to figure out how to create a title block (most likely in the top view) and use it with an isometric design thats in a 3D view. Not sure on how to combine these & make it work properly.
Thanks in advance.
