You said 'probably more luck than skill'
I love the expression 'the harder you work, the luckier you get'

This work is just amazing. I would second the last for a tutorial as there is so much stuff a beginner like myself would learn. I dare say those in the highly skilled bracket would as well because these images just jump out at you as so full of quality.

Thanks for that. I'm working on a 'how to do' type of dvd on making a through and lapped dovetail. Tool preparation, specialist jigs etc etc,all modelled in sketchup, and at some stage I'm looking for an excellent rendering programme. Mojo brings your images to life and I love them. The fact that someone else has commented on the fact that they are easier to work with is also a benifit.Having said all that, everyone still needs a bit of help on the way and I really appreciate your offer of help if needs arise.

Thankyou

RE: Follow Me tool not working with curve
Hi
I notice that you work with small measurements the same as myself. My solution to this problem was to
1 make the model in your case the rectanglular shape including the curve required.
2 group the model, scale up by a scale of 10 or 100.
3 ungroup the model, then carry out the follow me operation at this incrreased size. This should then work. You will also have to use the same scaling up method for other shapes when working with small measurments.

RE: Hit-Air Motorcycle Riding Jackets
Hi Mike,
For thee years of my previous life in the 70's I was police motor cyclist riding the old style BMW 850, a beautiful machine. Escorting ambulances etc at stupid speeds sometimes. The training was superb and I know that a few former police motor cyclists are now advanced motor cycle instuctors earning some pocket money teaching. Hard work eh if you enjoy a good safe ride.
I would think that your local traffic department could put you onto an instructor who would probably me more than happy to show you a safer way to ride with more advanced forward vision and planning.
Payment. Well maybe some beers!I also rode a bike out of work so was aware that people treated you differently.
I always had my headlights on full beam, but dipped obviously and I felt that this was much safer.
Equipment, training all keys to a safer ride.
cheers
