I use dual dimensioning all the time. I'm just starting to use LO more frequently, and starting to get away from Turbocad. I hope the developers make a dual dimension tool. Dimensioning everything twice over is very time consuming

RE: Go To Layer Tool
Thanks to those who replied. Sorry I did not respond right-a-way.
That is what I wanted to know. If I could pick anything, see what layer it was on, and go to that layer like a "match property" tool. It would be very handy for me.
What I want to know now is how could this lead me down the road of frustration? I see nothing but upside for this tool.

Go To Layer Tool
Is there a tool or procedure where I can use my selection tool, pick a component, group, or drawn object, select it and go directly to that particular layer. This would be very handy for me because some of my projects have a lot of layers. Thanks.

Project Organization - Layers
I would like to do more of my home designs using sketchup. I understand components, groups, and layers and how they work. I am looking for advice on how to best organize a project. Does anyone use the standard CAD layers? If so, what is the best way to set things up. Thanks
