Hi,
We are looking at starting to create basic floorplans in CAD, import to Sketchup Pro and then create a 3D model of interior spaces for our interior design clients in order for them to better visualize their completed project. I have been trying to research this online myself for quite some time; however, I am quickly becoming overwhelmed with the options. Many of the projects are in the ballpark of $700, so imagine my wanting to spend the money in the right place the first time.
I have looked at Artlantis Studio 3. I am worried that I have to spend $700 and then still won't have interior items that I will need to "stage" the spaces with accessories and furniture, etc. I will also need to show materials like stone, brick, tile, etc. It looks like with Artlantis I will need to spend significant additional money to obtain those items which I will need in addition to the cost of the program.
I am also looking at VRay but don't know if I will run into the same problem. I am not looking to spend thousands of dollars to accomplish my goal. I basically want to be able to furnish and apply finishes as accurately as possible to my clients proposed finished product. Are there any other interior designers on here and if so, what products do you recommend for me to accomplish my goal??
Any help you can offer me will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
