Hi Dave
No I only ran as administrator rather than logging so I will try. Having said that I think Vray may be the culprit, without it installed everything works fine. When I install Vray plugin it seems to pause app initialisation for a moment. Certainly every plugin installed after Vray does not stay put whereas everything before Vray installation is OK.

Edit:17_11_17 - Just checked I was already logged in as administrator when installing.
Many Thanks all for your responses, they were very helpful.
I finally managed to rectify problem by uninstalling again and manually deleting all content before installing with administration rights.
The Vray 3.6 tool bars are still not playing nice though. I cannot get them to dock in a permeant position.
Thanks again

Many Thanks for your response Tig but I have done all those things

Yes has suggested in my original post and ran through repair procedure. Admin rights should not make Trays be removed from setup, should they ?

Hi All
I am having problems with both Toolbar positions and trays in the windows version of SU 2018.
The toolbars will not stay in position and newly created trays are completely erased (not listed in tray manager) when reopening SU. Toolbars load OK but do not retain position.
The workspace on SU 2016, 2017 works fine and is retained on the same machine.
I am using a dual monitor setup.
I have installed SU 2018 with User Admin option.
I have exactly the same plugins installed as per SU 2017 albeit some are older plugins.
I have checked anti virus firewall etc.
Does anyone have any similar experiences or ideas ? A real pain particularly regarding custom trays being removed.
Best wishes

HI
Does anyone know of a plugin to produce stereoscopic cube faces or other to create stereo panoramas for VR for SU? I have used the stereo
plug-in for single scenes before to some success but would like to evolve to full panoramas. I can produce monoscopic VR by using same panorama twice (created in IrenderNXT)
With the perceived massive growth in VR generally this year it would be really useful to get on the bandwagon with the ability to produce VR presentations for clients. Stereoscopic images seem so much better than monoscopic presentations. See Reuters blog below http://blogs.reuters.com/breakingviews/ ... g-to-life/
Ideally cube faces from scenes would probably be the way so they could be rendered in render plugin of choice afterwards. I am still not sure how this is achieved anyway regarding two virtual spherical cameras offset to for eyesight distance and constant throughout panorama ?
Revit can produce stereo panoramas well in the 360 cloud rendering application.
I am aware Vray can produce stereo panoramas but I have only seen documentation for the 3D Max plug in. I do not have a license for Vray and little experience with the plugin. A lot of my libraries and experience relates to IrenderNXT.
Thanks in advance

Hi
Does anyone know if the stereo plugin works in 2 point perspective or if this is possible? I have have tried stereo_pan.rb which works great in a standard view but does not work in 2 point perspective - I assume there is some simple technical reason why this cannot happen but I have not yet thought of it.
Thanks in advance
