Molding Profiles
-
this is ao awesome Ron, you just saved me countless hours... and imporved my models...
I might add to those of you, who might use these... to use the "weld" script on the curved surfaces before you push pull... this will give you a nice edge...
again thanks a lot Ron

Kris, please elaborate a little...

Your welcome. I am almost done with the cove molding. I will get them up as soon as I get them done (about half way of getting them posted).
Your right Kris. Run the weld script. I just did not think of it at the time I was making the faces.
JUJU-this script welds all of the segments of a curve together to make one segment. It will save you clean up on all of the curves when you pull the face.
Matt4-SAME OLD SAME OLD. Why would it change. How's the new job?

Thank you Ron! These are great and extremely useful
Cheers! -
Ron,
U-da-man! Really...
I used to think I had the best moulding profile collection.....ever....
I have never seen such an EXTENSIVE collection as this......and To even think someone elses moulding profiles would be OK to use....Usually the corners are round, the curves are terrible, you know 6 segment circles.....but this has GREAT CURVES and CRISP CORNERS......curves as nice as the Poufs I saw posted earlier.......Seriously nice work.. and THANK YOU. -
yeah Juju what ron said... it cleans up the push/pull and soes not ave the vertical or horizontal lines...
what I see is that each of us would have paid $10.00 for this... and in a sketchup model download area... this group would kick ass....

Aaaah, I see its available from Smustard, and for free. (Thx Rick! )

Added crowns and astragals.

That's good. Your welcome.

Ron, awesome collection of moldings. Having been a trim carpenter for more than 25 years, I just love moldings. I certainly appreciate the time, the effort, and the generosity. Many thanks.

EDIT:
Ron,
I took the liberty of "welding" your entire Library of profiles.
I would be happy to send all the welded files to you directly (for re-insertion?).
Maybe Coen could advise ?
You have assembled such a great library, hope you don't mind my welding rod. :~)
BTW,I did a count on the number of profiles (quantity).Ron's Library......# Profiles
