Here is what the README file says that comes with the script - after a bit of detective workThe script file itself is named "
meshout.rbs
" and should be placed in the "Plugins" folder within the Sketchup folder.Example:
C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins\meshout.rbs
Remember to delete any previous versions of this script that may be in the folder.
After placing the script in its appropriate location, relaunch Sketchup.
A new menu item should appear as
Plugins > MeshOut v0.3.22 > Export IMVU File Set
...It will ask you to save your model before performing an export. The name of the exported files will default to the name of your model. A single XSF file should be generated containing the skeleton information. Each mesh will then be exported into separate XMF files as well as their associated textures. The file itself is encrypted so it's not possible to see what code is being used to run it, make menus etc...
If all else fails try the novel idea of contacting the script's author
[This product was made by ApocalypseSurvivor all rights belong to ApocalypseSurvivor.
RPVU are simply a host for this file and take no credit for the creation of MeshOut...
Any problems feel free to ask at http://www.rpvu-imvu.com]I extracted the Files Directly to the Plugins Folder for SketchUp, as far as I know the Guy has Disappeared
it Mentions something on the Neo link...IMVU has 37,000 Developers and its an Expanding Market. 3D Max has ruled there, But there are Quite A few Who Would like to Use Sk SketchUp if the File Conversion Issues were resolved. If anyone who is Familiar with the Ruby Script Would Be interested in creating a New Conversion Plug in there is a Lot of PPL who would Benefit. Peach

I may have spoke to Early, I got 1 file to Load but now I try to load my new xmf file in the previewer and it doesn't take. In the SketchUp Users Group it says that it won't work with 8, the first one i did loaded as a Mesh, so i don't understand why this won't. This is the link to the Previewer where it needs to load http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14571558/InstallPreviewer_372.9-20070514.exe Also there is an Updater which takes it to a current version http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14571558/IMVUPreviewerUpdater.exe If this is an Ongoing Issue for Present and Future SketchUp users perhaps there is a Need to Update the Plugin or redesign it for the Future SketchUp users...I have the feeling that AS will not be doing so ~Peach~
Here is an Acompanying Link where they explain the Meshing process involved http://www.imvu.com/creators/education_center.php?tutorial_id=2225474 ...If SketchUp is to remane Viable as a Tool to IMVU Meshers There needs to be a Resolve to the issues involved. If anyone is game to Help us out with a File Conversion Plugin for IMVU that will take us to the Present and future of IMVU i know there will be a LOT of Greatfull PPL ~Peach~

IMVU Tries to Make its self User Friendly to Creators, Of ALL the 3D Modeling programs Available [3D Max,Maya, etc.] SketchUp is Reasonably the Most Hands on user Friendly Program Available, Creators Like Me Want the Ability that SketchUp Offers, I hope My Appeal has brought the Situation to Clairity. I am forced to go to SketchUp 7 to get benefit of the MeshOut Plugin and as I have 8 PRO I hate the Idea ~Peach~

hi it's me again,
until today, I have watched some tutorial video in youtube which suggested here. thxthere also a problem I could not solve, maybe you can help me?
it's a simple problem, just want to make a ramp, but a "J" shaped ramp,
I tried curvishear plugin but it seems not much help.this is the priview:
i explode it and clean all the lines inside the ramp and push a little, and then select one edge line and move it in Z direction (it works if only straight ramp, not j shaped)
could somebody help me?
