Thinking of our Majid today

To which delusional Muslim invasion are you alluding to, no mention of any Muslim invasion here.
The stinking debate is probably between your own ears mate.

Mates, mates... You made me burst into tears. Internet blockage was severe, and it is somehow back (many new websites are added to "out of reach list"). A hole Iran is suffering a big trauma... many lives lost, brave, beautiful young people.... unlived lives.. unflourished futures... fighting for a simple life.. so that ends meet... is it too much?...

People may not have noticed but Majid upvoted some posts here today. So he is safe and has some type of internet connection.
This is a huge relief to know. Continue to stay safe Majid.
Regarding the topic being diverted into other arguments. I would like to remind everyone that there are plenty of places on the internet to discuss these topics.
Here we are focussed on Majid and his families well being and safety. Lets keep that support going.

I'm so glad you're okay, Majid! My heart goes out to all Iranians. I had the privilege of working with an Iranian architect who worked on many government (and large) projects prior to the overthrow of the Shah, who came to the US with nothing other than his family. He did not speak english and his daughter (who did) came in to translate for him when he interviewed. Everything he knew about construction (very little wood framing in Iran) went out the window and he had to learn a new language and a new way of construction. Through it all, he was the most humble, sweetest person I'd ever met - never being down about what they were going through (or at least showing it). So full of knowledge, too!! After a few years he obtained his architects license. I'm sorry to say that I just found out he passed in 2023 .. a true loss in the world. Best of luck for both you, Majid, and the people of Iran.

Islam, the religion of peace

Thanks @bep @l-i-am @mike-amos and @mtnarch for your cooncerns.
It seems this is gonna be the last presence of the US in the Middle East for at least the next 2/3 decades. It will not waste his time flirting with mullas.... Their ideology is dangerous. I hope that world takes Iran's story as a lesson, not letting an ideology (especially Islam) take over... IMO World would be a much better world if ruled by wisdom and knowledge. Islam (to my understanding) has never been the religion of peace.... When I see Muslem extrimist in EU or US, I feel upset, and wish EU/US prevents its growth.
@mtnarch people of Iran, mainly, like and admire US people. Many of my good/smart friends had to emigrate to your eminent land. Who knows, maybe I had to/opt to either... -
Wish you the very best Majid
