Where Does One Find Work?

What's a good website to get work?
3D or drafting.
Angi's List and Thumbtack seem sketchy.
Craiglist is useless.
Social media is also useless.

Upwork, Dibble, Fiverr, Artstation, LinkedIn

Holy smokes! I got a small rendering job from the architect I usually work for. Probably not done yet but I just sped right through it.
I spend too much time on renderings.

Well done Agus,residential?

@L-i-am Yeah. Nothing fancy. Took me a couple of hours. Getting ready to go wherever I go at the end of June. Need the money. I'll probably use this to get a year's subscription for SU. I went on the monthly plan and now they're going to start charging $100/month for that.

Well, I've been giving a shot with Upwork with sending proposals and buying credits but I've gotten nowhere there. Plus the job offers are pathetic with a lot of people literally wanting to pay $5/hour if not peanuts for licensed architects.
I also set up a Facebook professional page and that's not going anywhere either. I'm in the middle of setting up Fiverr but I get the feeling it will be the same as with Upwork with people offering work for 3rd world wages even from people located in the USA.
I'm rather flummoxed with all of this. I have been getting some work from an old client/friend and the architect I worked for on a usual basis has slowed down a lot.
Drafting would remain my bread and butter. Whatever's left of that in this brave new world. I can't compete with people that expect to be paid a 1/4 of what I would get paid picking up garbage on the side of the road.

I have used Fiver to give work but getting work from fiver would be dificult as we are competing with people from Countries with much cheaper living standards than most western countries. I famed out a job that would have taken me 12 hours the very talented guy from another Country did the work for $90

In any event most of my work is drafting and little involves rendering jobs. I unsubscribed from Upwork Plus and raised my base rate back to what a freelance drafter with my experience should earn in the USA and not unskilled labor wages. That would be $50/hour. Here's a link to my Facebook professional page which is going nowhere even when I pay for an ad to run for a week.
