How to delete a post

I made a post and had problems that kept asking me to refresh so I then made multiple posts to the same topic. I finally saw the thread with all of the duplicate posts. I then tried to delete the posts but still see them there although grayed out.
What is the correct way to delete a post(s)?

Three little vertical dots on the lower right corner of the post click on the , hit delete on the drop down from 3 down

That is what I did but the posts are still there.
Look at the last 3 posts in the RayScaper Learning-Practice thread.

@ntxdave Not an expert on this mate but have you tried signing out, close Sketchucation down and opening it again and signing in and then try to delete it again
