Thank you Dave for the compliment, I appreciate it.
@pixelcruncher ; This is just an imaginary space to include in my resume as I am applying for any relevant job position, and at the time I got my Extended Master's Degree -EMD-( I believe it was the same in many countries before standardization), all the relevant disciplines were under one hood. So basically over almost 8 years of EMD, we learned about interior design, housing complexes and residential, cultural space, functional spaces (airport and hospital ...), commercial spaces , even restoration and urban design!... I did it based on a good composition rules and is not a real space... By the way RayScaper (RS) seems very promising and fast as aRaytracer engine and is very stable at this phase to be honest. For those who are so obsessive about realism, it has all needed tools and for those who seek a fast result also is applicable. Learning curve is rather shallow and the interface is clean. Thanks for letting me have my hands on RS.
I like the free material and background environment library. There are plenty of PBR materials that bring realism to the scene despite the fact that I had some minor issues to adjust the texture size at the beginning.

      • ***: There were some iterations while modeling, Also in another version I tested a bright color scheme. feel free to change theme, material, lightings etc... or you might add some object on tables or on the tiers etc.. My laptop is old to handle too much objects...
**** All emitter material names start with "emit", so you can adjust them or off them on your own

I am glad you are enjoying Rayscaper πŸ’š Thanks for sharing the backstory!

      Cheers,
      Thomas

RS is just a great render engine, specially for those how care about quality and accuracy. Considering it is on its very early stages...

Despite the fact that SketchUp models are not good enough, the render comes out really fine for only 4 min and 12% of progress.

I believe car design needs me more than RS .... 😲 I have a handful of ideas that may change the car-design industry.. I have no clue how may I find my way to it...

Fletch has been super helpful with advice, but I'm not sure he's up for another rendering adventure after a decade of Twilight render.

@pixelcruncher I like in-built DOF effect of the RayScaper and it is too intuitive!
Compared to real-life photography that one has to know the aperture steps , etc... it is really easy, and this is really great that it had it from the very first release, without any sensible change in rendering time...
Is there any Bkeh effect on the road-map?

It seems I have a problem with thin glass material. Do I must apply it to both sides of the plane or just one side? it seems that it does not let the light in.
