This is really amazing. I would never imagine being able to do such a thing in SketchUp.
Last week I did a one-day modeling and rendering similar job using Blender (Modeling, rendering, post pro..) based on an image on the web. You are pushing the Sketchup to the limits!

Thanks guys, I wish I could say the same about the speed, currently 3042 minutes in (50 hours)
Majid thats incredible speed for 1 day and the render looks awesome, well done!
The Iconic Telegraph is complete, and added the bowsprit chain lines

@axeonalias : You are pushing Sketchup to its boundaries!
Blender has a builtin Subd that makes it easier to model. By the way in some cases nothing may beat Sketchup's speed modeling. -
Good old Blender! yes I import base mesh`s from SU to Blender to use its subdiv, handy
Life boats are in, Ratlines are complete and a few new materials are added
-
WOW!

I know I have said this before but, your creations and those of others here bring me a smile every time I visit.
My thanks to you and all.
Clucking fantastic.

Now that shes ready to at least steam under her own power, I can start making clips like this, same software "Vessel Visualizer"
-
Awesome stuff.
-
Tried a few superimposed shots, beats creating that entire terrain in 3d
-
No aged print effects added, but Black and white is more suitable for the time period
-
Perfection.
