      Sketchup Pro 2023
I've installed LibFredo6, I've installed Sketchucation. I've got Curviloft and Roundcorner loaded and usable. When I download and attempt to install FredoCorner I get an error "failed to install FredoCorner..." I can see the extension in Extension Warehouse but it shows no author or other information. I restarted Sketchup and my PC multiple times with no change. Any guidance on what I'm doing wrong?

Can you install via our ExtensionStore in SketchUp?

Go to Extensions > Sketchucation > ExtensionStore

In the dialog click the Paste icon in the footer

Paste in pln=fredocorner and click install

Thank you for the quick response! Your solution seemed to work - right up until the "UnZIP Error: could not unzip archive" error window popped up. ???

My PC gives me two options for locations to install the plugins -

            #1 - C:/Users/build/AppData/Roaming/SketchUp/SketchUp 2023/SketchUp/Plugins

            #2 - C:/ProgramData/SketchUp/SketchUp 2023/SketchUp/Plugins

When I use location #1 I get the "unable to unzip archive" message. When I use Location #2 the download is successful but SketchUp doesn't know the plugin is there, regardless of the number of restarts and reloads.

My apologies, my level of computer literacy is just above "get off my lawn".

You only get the ProgramData plugins folder option if you have previously installed an extension in there.
Typically it's used for complex extensions like renderers, which have a custom installer exe set up.
Normally you should always install extensions in your main user AppData plugins folder.
This is always automatically used by the SketchUp Extension Manager > Install tool.
You should be able to open the paths you gave using Windows Explorer and see if the installed extensions RB file[s] and subfolder[s] are indeed there.
You need to do some house keeping and delete the ProgramData ones that should be in your user plugins folder.
The 'unable to unzip archive' error suggests there might be an error in the permissions set up on your PC for that plugins folder.
              You could try resetting those.
Use Windows Explorer to navigate that plugins folder, go up one level so you can see the Plugins folder's icon.
Select that icon and right-click > context-menu > Properties [near the bottom of the list].
In the dialog which opens choose the Security tab.
There will be several accounts listed - typically your own [build?], SYSTEM, Administrators and perhaps 'Account Unknown'.
              Click the Edit button.
Select each of those accounts in turn and ensure that 'Full Control' in ticked in the Permissions section under 'Allow'.
Depending on you PC's configuration you might need to confirm things as admin...
After processing all of the entries choose OK to complete any changes...

That did the trick! There were files duplicated in both locations - I just uninstalled all of the extensions that had been located in the incorrect folder and reinstalled. Now we're working just fine - thanks for the tips!
