A useful post pro method?

I was experimenting with Affinity photo early this AM, spotted a thing called LUT, apparently 'Look Up Tables' which is a photography tool for altering light and colour levels. After a short session of experimentation I thought I'd look into it a bit more deeply, this site has a few articles which may be of use. https://mixinglight.com/color-grading-tutorials/understanding-luts/
There are quite a few different LUT presets available online.
The attached image is an LUT called 'Daltronize' which is an Affinity photo preset.

I've been using LUTs for a few years in Affinity. Its great to give your renders filmic results with the need to add a bunch of levels, hue adjustments etc.

A test render with LUT's. I know, folk do not like architecture renders with people or any kind of story in them. Well, sorry to the purists, I actually do and while I am at it, I am in the UK so do not do things because "They do it this way in America".
Almost Friday folks.

No worries mate, new to me and it does appear to have a lot of promise. I would really like to have a method to clasify them though. The downloads I have seen are hit and miss.
