Next. Affininty tpp. Good for levels and saturation.

I like the model and I am sure not the sage that guys like you are but I have a couple of questions/comments:
- Is there a light source other than the lamps?
- If the lamps are lit, should there be a shadow behind them or should there be a glow on the wall from the lamps?
- If there is not another light source (other than the lamps), are the shadows from the desk and other objects be in a different direction?
-
There is a lamp near the ceiling.
I think the shadow is what you see as the light is mostly through glass, a glowing crystal finish.
Shadows will change when the lighting is finalised.
-
The second shot is really nice! REALLY nice.
-
I like the first shot, but the colour temperature is way off. That is all that is wrong with that shot
-
I am thinking about a few aspects of this, like the temperature of the lighting etc. I just need to put thoughts in order.
-
Colour temp in the 2500-2700k range -
-
Oh just in case somebody thought I did a render of a oil lamp, sorry it is just an image I downloaded to show the colour temperature
-
Oooooh!
-
It is getting better and better. My only comment, considering the selected rendering engine, goes to oil lamp's glass material. I guess a thin Glass (architectural glass) material will work fine.
-
Thanks folks. Majid, I tried that glass and not a lot of difference. Still thinking on this one for a while.
-
Do you mind sending the oil lamp model to me via DM or e-mail so that I have a look at, please?
-
No problem mate.
