Something of a WOW moment or two there, polished, sharp and very eerie. Some of the movement is a giveaway but the best I have seen anyway. Thanks for posting that.

I really hope we get to see some type of breakdown on how this was done.

Only info I got so far was the camera moment was done via VR headset and to get 60fps they rendered out 4k stills.

That Lumen tech for GI is so impressive in UE5. Just imagine what Twinmotion will be like in a few years when they get this dialled in.

Are you surmising that TM will always pluck out technology from UE or have you heard something? I guess the logic would follow though. Are you using TM?

And as far as using a vr headset for the camera...........wow! I would love to know what GPU he is using, bet its in a liquid nitrogen bath though πŸ˜‰

I accidently edited your earlier post when i meant to quote it so now after cleaning the egg off my face here's what I meant to post....

I used to have TM before Epic acquired it. I got a free license off the devs along time ago.

Been following it since because I believe it is the one tool in ArchViz that will become the defacto choice in a few years.

The whole CAD app to UE workflow via datasmith is as streamlined as its gonna get. But its still too involved for regular users. Twinmotion if it can implement Lumen and Nanite will definitely move the goal posts.

When you consider the 3D asset pool Epic has the likes of Lumion cannot compete.

Am pretty sure that is true, and the goal of UE/TM. Pretty sure you can download TM for free these days if not for commercial use. Forgive me if I am wrong.
2022.1.2 skydomes, path tracing etc. Only thing is that you loose decals if you use path tracing, they are working on that ATM

(Edited) I think TM/UE are looking at TM being the #1 renderer and giving a free version the only limitations being: output being max 2K and not for commerial use. Clever marketing! I am thinking it will be an industry standard app.

For sure. Epic is investing and acquiring all the right tech and content to rival Adobe in the design space.

Worth also mentioning https://www.o3de.org/ which is an Open Source game engine based off Crysis Engine. Be interested to see if any clever developers use this to front end realtime rendering for ArchViz arena.
