Moonlight, night night.
-
Just a moonlight render, 2 versions.
-
Nice result & very moody
The light hitting the blind on the right is distracting. Does the blind have transparency?
-
Thank you, It does, I had turned down the wick on the hdri or at least meant to so I will have to redo it. A brain fart I think.
-
Oh my. Well done!
-
It's this that looks off...
...it looks to be floating. All the others are fine. Just this little fecker not behaving!
-
Thank you, I shall reboot my brain and run that past myself in the morning.
I had completely missed that bleep.
-
I think I have that problem worked out, there is a gap between the light unit and the light emitter, this gap is more obvious when there is a step in the geometry, like a frame for the blinds. I have adjusted the geometry and will render it when I get back from the hospital this afternoon.
-
Nice work, like the second image better.
-
Thanks folks. Delayed slightly with a lot to think about from today. Life has its own brain fart moments too.
I will try again over the weekend but at least its not an F1 weekend so I don't have to worry about trying to score more points in the virtual gp.
Have a great weekend folks.
-
I agree with others, really nice work With a lit le tweaking of the lighting it will be perfect
-
Thanks mate.
-
prima work! & Respect, not the easiest work to balance darkness with artificial lighting so well

Thanks mate.

I think I may have sorted the light issue, a bit. I have changed the light unit itself so the emitter does not drop below it. Fingers crossed.
Twilight V2 does a hell of a job making it easier.
-
If was damn good to begin with, it's far tighter now.
It looks like you been doing for this for years. Outstanding.
-
Really like the overall βmoodβ of this one
-
This is great. Great mood. Except not favoring the screen/shade? material on the right. Not sure what sort of material or function it represents.
-
sorry double post....
The stone at the back is really nice. Not something I'd want near MY bed, but fantastic render!
a) I live in earthquake country!b) ...

Thanks folks, the window blind is slatted with a fabric outer cover that I have no memory of the source for. Might have been the Sketchup texture club but could gave been anywhere as I am cleaning hdd right now.
