SCFLicense: Extension Licensing on Sketchucation

Hi @fredo, I have a licence but now I'm getting an alert saying - Trial Period Expired: RoundCorner
Trial period has expired since Thu 30 Dec 2021, but I got the licence in 2022, can you assist please. I have the licence but just as a txt doc.

I see that you have 2 licenses of RoundCorner, one installed, the other not. Could you PM me the screenshot of the message you get.
In any case, make sure you upgraded LibFredo6, Sketchucation PluginStore and my plugins to their latest versions.

I deleted the signature file and tried it again
ERROR_B03 and ERROR_A04 are repeated over and over again.

All versions of the program have been updated to the latest version

Even the license that was reissued earlier this year won't be activated. Please help me

Everytime I work for some time offline, Round Corner tells me that my trial license has expired, even so I have bought a full license. I then have to go online and activate my license again, to start working again.
I hate to be forced to work online all the time by a shitty plugin licensing routine like that.
Your plugs are great, but your licensing is shit! -

Following on from what Dave said... Have you also install the very latest versions of the Extensions, Lib Fredo and the SketchUcation Toolset [which manages the licensing].
I know Fredo has greatly increased the time needed between online check-ins to avid your very problem...

I'm trying to release a license from old work computers that i no longer have access to. Can any one help please! -

Please run the Window > Libfredo Settings > Fredo6 Plugins Information for Sketchucation Support menu command in SketchUp and copy/paste the output into your reply.

It is an easy question and not a secret. I didn't answer simply because I didn't see it.
After activating you can work offline. The extension can ping periodically. Periodically would be once every ~4 weeks it phones home to see that your still good.
A phone home is simply a handshake with the server to say 'hello here's my license' and we answer back 'yep that's your license'.
On occasion there's a scenario whereby you phone home but your licensing system needs to be updated and you get a license error popup. This is where we need to improve the messaging.
But there's no constant checking or a 'must always be online' state.
Fredo might chime in with more precise numbers if he sees it.

Thanks for your answer, Rich. So is this something that has been changed recently, as TIG said? Or is it the same situation as is always was? The reason for this question is, that it had been mentioned before that it would be 4 weeks, but my own experience was that it worked only for 5 or 7 days.

It was originally ~14days but it was stretched to ~28days when further improvements to the licensing occurred with Sketchucation Tools 4.3+. I can't give precise dates of when it changed to be honest. I'm running different versions of both Sketchucation Tools and Libfredo to test upcoming features I simply forget what changes and when.
Also the licensing system, and Sketchucation Tools before 4.3, was incredibly hard to support. Our support inbox was a stream of license errors reports and deactivations etc...
So our intent is to constantly evolve the license system for the user and offer flexibility. Not trap them to devices or online states. We want user to manage every aspect themselves.
You can't completely escape an online check because that is the nature of licensing but we do aim to minimise the need. Its not perfect but we are slowly getting there.

Within 4 weeks, the licensing makes randomly 4 attempts to check the license online. If none of them can go through, then you need to revalidate online.
