Entity Info Window equivalen in Layout?

New to Layout - is there an equivalent to the Entity Info Window (in Sketchup) that is found in Layout?
Or do we just rely on the existing palettes which I'm assuming, any objects on our Layout pages, will be shown in those respective palettes?

There is no Entity Info window. Look at the specific window for the type of entity or tool you have selected. In some cases more than one window will be in play. For example, when you select the Label tool or an existing label, Shape Style and Text will be available for settings. If you click on a color button in one of those windows, the Colors window will be active.

Since you are new to Layout it is worth mentioning you will want to keep your model references up to date.
Best way to do so is through file references.
