Vray Render Settings for Epoxy Floor (Help Pls)
-
Hi guys, I'm rendering a bathroom using SU and Vray3.4 or 3.6, thinking to render an exposy flooring instead of conventional ceramic tiles. How can I set up the parameters given I don't have any vismat files ready to be utilized? Just a bunch of basic settings like refraction, reflection, diffuse, bumps and displacement if needed, would all be helpful. Much appreciated if anyone could give me a hand.

You shouldnt always depend on a vismat to create materials. Go to Youtube and watch a couple of basic tutorials. An epoxy floor seems to be pretty easy to setup. Look at photos on the web and then understand what parameters will get you that look.
Seems that you need a base diffuse and then maybe just up the reflection on it as epoxy floors are very glossy.
http://www.cgtextures.com might have a good diffuse you can use.
