Hi I'm looking for some advice please on getting this to look more natural they are shipping container homes, and it just doesn't look like the renders I see others doing.

Is it the choice of material, bad lighting or both?

        It's the materials.

Simple plastic will look like plastic.

Also change the perspective to 2 point so the converging lines are horizontal only.

What's the context that this building will exist in? right now it looks like you've plonked it in the middle of super flata dessert. Try adding in a background photo of the where it will be built. Also, having some texture in your material may help.

          Cheers.

            1. add context: trees, a road, cars and a background image

2: Use a domelight with an HDRI texture might help having some more realistic reflections on your walls and glass

3: use 2 point prospective as stated above
