Is there a quick way or short-cut to get outside of groups of components?
Sometimes I am 3 or 4 levels down and need to keep clicking just to get back on top level
      Thanks
      Michiel

Have the Outliner window open and click on the base-model to jump back, or click on another 'container' to jump to that edit level...

Jim posted a 'one liner' and Bob made it into a .rb called backout in this thread.

You can also press Esc until you've backed out as far as you need.

Great link Jim, this is going to save me a lot of time (it already did)
Thanks TIG, going through outliner is a good second option..never occurred to me
And Dave thanks, never new ESC works, only one level at the time but beats clicking with a mouse

One level at a time could be a good thing if you only need to go up a few levels. Or just hit it repeatedly until nothing happens.
