Plug in

Hi,
I have un- and reinstalled SU 2016 today. After opening the 1st re-installation of SU I saw that the previous extensions showed up. I was thinking they will be uninstalled too in the uninstall process. But apparently that didn't happen. When I tried to use the extension fredo scale it didn't work. The toolbar of FS showed up and I could click on icons in the toolbar but the cursor didn't turn accordingly to the selected tool icon and when I hovered over my geometry the cursor didn't showed any context sensitive behavior as it normally should with eg. fredo scale.
I tried to tackle the problem with deleting all extensions in the app data folder and re installing the extensions but the problem remained.
I know that I need LibFredo6 for FredoScale to work and I have installed both properly.
Any suggestions what might be wrong?
Thanks!

A reinstallation does NOT remove any of your own Plugins - you must do that manually...
When you install SketchUp you must do it properly, otherwise all kinds of unpredictable flakiness can happen !
Find the Installer's exe file - it's probably in your Downloads folder ?
Select it > right-click > context-menu > "Run as administrator"Installing it any other way can create all sorts of weirdness.
Being an admin is NOT enough, you must run it exactly as described...If it's already installed, there's probably no need to redo everything.
Close SketchUp and run the installer as administrator [as described above]...
When prompted choose 'Repair'... -
Thank you TIG for taking the time and replying my question! And also BIG THANKS to you for all your plugins!
I couldn't stand it anymore and so I decided to reinstall the whole damn windows 10 because my system showed all kind of funky behavior. I suspect there was something fishy going with visual C++. I don't know I am not that splendid computer expert.
I have reinstalled SU and fredo scale and it's behaving nicely, let's see how long that will last.
Have a good evening!
