Light from Projector & Screen
-
Hi,
I am working on an interior render of a small theater where I would like to render the light from the projector and screen. For the screen I know I can use a bitmap and make it an emissive material. But I have not clue who I can render the light from the projector
The view is from the back looking at the screen. It will be really helpful if someone can share how they achieved the same with SU + Vray.
Thanking everyone in advance.Cheers !!

Hi,
I don't think it is possible yet.
They introduced fog for aerial perspectives but it's not the same and limited to sunlight.
There is also this material called Subsurface Scattering that has some volumetric options etc. but i doubt it can be used for your purpose.
Thereby, you can try to add it in post production

Thanks for information. You are right... Post production is the way to go for now.
