      Simple plan with two rectangles: one with all four corners rounded and one with only two corners rounded.

      All straight lines are draped correctly, but the rounded corners do not.

        How small is this geometry.
        SketchUp's in-built 1/1000" tolerance can prevent tiny edges from forming, so sometimes it incorrectly deduces that two very close points are coincident and then it doesn't make the edge !
        Try Scaling everything up x100, retrying the process and see if that helps.
        Scale back down afterwards...

            I can replicate it.
            With a radius ~1" the segments should be long enough to exist, do it fails.
            So the in-built 1/1000" issue should not kick in as the segments are considerably longer than that.

            Making it say ~2", then it does not present the issue at all...
