Creating 3D Printable Footpad

I have been struggling to create a base that 2 legs will insert into and a place to hook a bungee cord. I am using Sketchup Pro 2017 Solid Tools and SolidInspector2 plugin. I want to insert the 2 smaller, angled cylinders into the round base cylinder. 2 legs will fit into the 2 cylinders. I also want to create a hook by subtracting the torus from the round base.
My attempts have been trimming the 2 small cylinders into the round base and then subtracting the torus. I always lose the solid object of the resultant object. I would appreciate any help.

Scale the object 100x then do your subtracting.
Afterwards scale it back down 0.01
I would do it to your model but I wasn't entirely sure what was getting added and what was getting removed.
-
Zooming did help with subtract. The end result should look like the attached image except I was hoping to have bottoms in the 2 inserted cylinders. After the operations I do not end up with a solid.

Those shape are not going to boolean.
The tube has no end/bottom
The Oval hangs over the edge.
You need to rework the inserts to fit.

I'm not clear what you mean by the "shapes will not boolean". The sub shapes were all solids. (I put tops and bottoms on all of them. I then deleted the tops after trimming. Zooming and ensuring none of the small shapes were touching inside the base worked. The piece is way larger than I want, but it is a start. Thanks for the help.

Something like this?
You may download the attached SKP file and follow the scenes to see how I did it.

I can't recreate your steps. I think I am not doing Scene 3 correctly. Do you explode the pieces and just group the interiors?
-
OK, after some sleep, I successfully repeated what you did. Even scarier,I understand what you did.
THANKS for the great help!

Excellent, glad it helped!
