Bool Tools 2 released
-
Dale Martens (WHAAT) has released Bool Tools 2. (Find info on version 1 of Bool Tools here.)
It seems as though it will be helpful for those of you doing 3D printing as well...
What do you think? How does this compare with the SUPro's Solid Tools and Eneroth's Solid Tools?
+++ EDIT +++
For what it's worth, I purchased version 1 back in the day and have done so for version 2 as well. Come to thiink of it, I have a few of his plugins / extensions...
-
French version of the Manual
-
made me think of the blender add on bool tools,
would love to see real time booleans like we have for cut out components to operate more universally like that -
Great addon! Improves on Solid Tools tenfold. Only $20
-
Great Dale made this!
Too bad / strange though the SU team themselves never improved the native booleans. -
I saw earlier that if you bought Bool Tools 1 you should keep an eye on your e-mail (obviously the e-mail address used when that was bought back in the day) for a promo code for Bool Tools 2.
-
I love the "correct" working trim and keep function!
Great second version! -
I think I'll wait until the requirements to "Turn off autosave" and "Save your model before using this tool" are resolved before purchasing an extension even if it's developed by Dale.
EDIT
Couldn't resist: bought it -
I've just posted the same question on their thread but how does this differ from the bool plugin by guild interactive?

It's simple and it works. That's all there is to it.
It can also operate on nested solids

Day and night difference comparing to standard ones. Bought it.
