Rich section

cant get 'rich section' plugin to work in SU16 or 17, is it me or does in only work in older versions?

I just downloaded and installed it. Then I tried to run it with the Ruby Console open. It pops up this message:
RS0.5.8|25.652|2017-01-09 04:25:10 -0600: RichSection: Time-limited FULL WORKING license Expired at 2015-07-01 19:00:00 -0500 : [nil]Found the original thread and this expiration thing has been a problem since the middle of 2015. It also seems that the author has lost interest in it. You can try contacting him directly but others had no success. Maybe you need to check out Skalp as an alternative that is still very much active.

Isn't Rich Section the alpha of Skalp?
Maybe there is a legacy version available somewhere but if not you can trial Skalp.

where a modified plugin can be found.
Works in SU16 and seems pretty good although you can only have one material for the section cut.
Trimble/Sketchup so needs to address this issue with sections in my view.
