2016 Make, Win 8.1, 32 bit
I was unable to run a 1/8" diameter bar around a 5/16" radius.
The bar is a 48-side circle. and the 5/16" curve is 90 degrees & 6-sides.
What rule did I break? -
Small faces. Scale it up 100x larger and try it

SketchUp's tolerance is 1/1000".
If two points are closer than that, then they are deemed to be coincident, and the tiny edge that those points might have defined is not made.
Because faces need a loop of edges this means that tiny faces can be missed out if a tiny edge is skipped.
You geometry looks 'on the edge'.
I suspect that the tiny facets needed to get the tight bend are what's causing the problem.I suggest you do it this way...
Make your object say 10 or 100 times bigger, it'll probably form OK.
Then you can Scale it back down to the size you want.
The tiny geometry can exist, BUT it cannot be created at a minuscule size.
Another trick is to start off with the profile and path edges inside a component.
Make a copy of that component instance and scale that copy up by a factor [even 1000 !], then edit the big-instance, and do the followme.
Because the followme operation is then being done on the enlarged version the tolerance limit is sidestepped.
Exit the edit and erase the big-version.
The original size version will have been changed to match - with its tiny geometry intact...
If you need to redo anything to this tiny thing remember to once again scale up a copy etc - the tolerance issue might trip you up again otherwise...
