Startup Lag

When I start SketchUp on my Win10 laptop, it takes easily 3-4 min before SU even opens. If I go to my Processes, I see SketchUp.EXE there. If I disable my internet connection, SU starts right up.
This only happens on my laptop with Windows10. I have 4 other workstations all with the same plugins and setup, and I do not have this issue. Any ideas?

Interesting. I too am running 2016 Pro on a laptop with Win 10. After reading your post, I disconnected from the internet and while it did not start immediately, it did start a little quicker and the toolbars showed up almost instantly once it did load. With the internet connect, it both starts a little slower and it takes a while for the toolbars to show up.
It is going to be interesting to see if someone can explain this one. I am looking forward to responses from others.

Sketchup 10 on my desktop with internet 5 seconds and without internet 4 seconds.

I'd guess it's either Sketchup checking online for updates/license, or an extension doing so.
Try disabling your extensions. -
It seems that it was my components window. My history had a network location that was hosted on another machine in my home network so it was taking a killer amount of time loading that... i think. Once I removed it from the component browser history, it starts up in less than 5 seconds.
