Creating a Drinking Glass
-
Hi everybody :
Hopefully, this is the right place for this. My question is......how do I create a drinking glass, with the appearance of having liquid in the glass ? The picture shows the method I use to create the glass. Of course, the "shape" shown is a simplified example. garystan

here are some first helpful ideas how you could get alonghttp://www.artvps.com/index.php/discuss/viewthread/2628/

https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=u3cd331fb-b2e9-480d-a9f8-f2ad95c209d3of course the use of material settings or presets within your used renderer, such as glass, solid glass or liquid play major role for this task ...
BTW - your shown sketch is the right start
than add an other rotated geometry for the liquid inside the glass... -
