SU to Unreal Engine any progress?
-
Does anyone know if there has been any progress on the workflow from SketchUp to Unreal Engine? Obviously without going through Blender?
-
I know you can go directly from SU to UE, and there are tutorials on that and I think this one is very clear:
-
Or Take free Unity 5 : it's direct SU ---> Unity 5, without any manipulation!

Here is a tutorial I have been looking at. Haven't watched it all yet or gotten around to trying any of it yet. Hope it is helpful.

I have Richard, the difficulty has been creating the bounding edges around the model once its imported. I am planning on writing a tutorial soon so will keep you posted.

I think Wrap-R is worth waiting for, i really really think it is game changer for SU and game engines out there.

Are you talking about collision detection here? If so - have a look at: "Use Complex Collision As Simple" option in the static mesh settings in Unreal
