I updated the SectionCutFace plugin yesterday and now I am seeing something I think might be a bug.

Look at this image and you will see that sometimes I am getting a face when there should not be one.

The view on the left is the section cut before applying the plugin. The view on the right is the section cut after applying the plugin. Notice that the bottom box has a face applied over everything. Maybe in this particular case that is because of the way the edges are showing but I have had this happen in some other models.

share the model? I think the mistake is in your use of SCF

SectionCutFace has to decide what is a face to be kept and what isn't.
If your object is not a solid, and there are some possible ambiguities then it can decide to remove the wrong parts.
Try it with all edges retained [an option] and showing [another option].

OK - all my fault. There is no bug. On the model where I created the images before, there were really two faults. One, I did not push the section cut in far enough so the cut really was not proper. The 2nd was that I did not draw the two levels of the cube correctly so internal faces were not drawn correctly.

Once I saw the stupid mistake I had made, I went back to my original model and made some minor corrections and all is working well. I apologize for the mistakes and any negative inference that may have been caused.

If the moderator wants to kill this thread, it is fine with me.
