      Hello Everyone,

I am hoping to have someone enlighten me as to how I can vary between two different bitmaps within one texture to create a realistic "fall tree" effect. It is easily done within max, but I cannot seem to figure it out within Sketchup.

      Thank you for your time.

My understanding is that this cannot be done with VRay for SketchUp, at least not within the material.

Have you tried with a vray double sided material?

Scene Materials > Create Material > Two Sided

Here you can apply a fully different pre-existent material (not just a diffuse map, but with full control) for each different side.

          Hope it helps.

          RL.
