Can Vray Sketchup better with GPU render?

Hi you all, I am learning how to buy a new computer that will speed up my vray for sketchup render at least 4 times than using my macbook retina 2013. I am not sure will GPU render faster than using a CPU render for vray sketchup.
if I buy a super fast GPU like Titan, will that beat a very powerful CPU render??!!

I'm using Asus Rog with NVidia gtx 670mx and 24G of RAM , its better than my previous corei 7 hp... I'm sure the difference in time and quality is more than I like.

The only way to use GPU to render with VRay is RT and from my experience, RT is still pretty buggy in 2.0
I would invest in a better processor with more threads. i7 at a minimum.
