One click animation export with Vray render?
-
Hello,
I saw a youtube tutorial on how to export an SU animation with Vray render, and that involved alot of clicking and tweaking in the Vray option menu. Maybe I´ll get there one day, but I had a hard time understanding half of what the guy was doing, and he did quite alot.
I might be asking for a bit much here I suppose, but is it possible to export an animation with Vray rendering without doing all the tweaking in Vray? A plugin for me which rendered everything the way I set up the scence in SU and Vray with just a couple of clicks would be really helpfull for an amature like myself.
Just to clarify; I´m not asking for a plugin or help to get around setting up the Vray render options, I understand I have to do that. But once I´ve set both the render options and the animation scence in SU, can I easily export the two combined?
I also wish I spoke fluent english so I could explain myself better..

There is no 1 click solution because every scene's requirements are different and the resolution of the export and location that you export the stills into all need to setup. Just go through the steps in the video, it will be a good learning experience and next time you do it, you will go through it quickly.

why is life so hard...

You could always pay $5K for the new Lumion, that will do a decent job of one click renders.

Make sure Sketchup is closed.
Extract the zip to the folder here: C:\ProgramData\ASGVIS\VfS\Presets\Options
Then open SketchUp and use the preset I made for animation. It will populate in your Presets in the options editor. Here's a tutorial: http://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VRAY2SKETCHUP/V-Ray+Option+Editor+and+Preset+ToolBar
Hope that helps!

Ted, that was nice! I opened your animation visop and clicked render. I tried to understand how to save all the rendered images as film but couldn´t figure it out. When I choose "save image" it does just that - saving the last image that is. Is there a way to export these rendered images as a video?
