      Hi Aces,

That's a difficult one to do with the plugin. In general, it is designed for profiles to be used to connect the components. You should be able to create a polyline profile for the wire mesh instead of a component but it won't be as realistic as what you are trying to achieve. Thanks for the feedback!

Whaat, wouldn´t you be able to achieve that by using code similar to FredoScale's Planar Shearing? It´s easy to think of other things that would benefit from it, like electricity poles connected by electrical wires (the wires would be an arc... planar shearing them when the poles have different heights would be better looking than rotating the arcs)

Sometimes when applying a change of the profile size, a BUG SPLAT is produced.
        Have you noticed ??

Did you submit the BugSplats? If you didn't, can you please do? And did you enter any info in the description or name that I can use to look it up?

            Hello,
Please describe exactly what you did to reproduce the splat. PB2 was in beta testing for 5 weeks and there was not one report of any bug-splats. If this is caused by PB2, I will try and release a fix as soon as possible.

            Thanks for the report!

I'll certainly look into this if I keep getting requests for this feature. Thanks!

I used a lot the first ProfileBuilder, so I just purchased the second edition as it seems very, very promising ...

I'm just playing with it for a couple of minute and I have a couple of question :

                  • when I build an "assembly" and close the path, the first post on the junction disappear ...
                    Profile builder 2 - closed profile.jpg

                  • can we edit an "assembly" path afterward ?

                  Thanks.

Is this in the SCF plugin store? I never go to Trimble or use Google login myself.

                                    Profile Builder 2 is great!
I am using it to draw road layouts from profiles of the cross-section of a road with curbs and sometimes a median as well. The road extrudes beautifully along lines but when you join another road or have a road crossing the curbing and median follows right through the other road.
Is there any way to have these joints/crossings show up as a normal road would? When you follow a corner the road behaves correctly and extends one edge and reduces the other edge, so could the curbing and medians be removed automatically at crossings and junctions?

Is there a particular reason you don't offer Profile Builder 2 through the Sketchucation Plugin Store? I really object to having to create a Google account in order to purchase through the Extension Warehouse, but I'm keen on purchasing your plugin.
